Review of The Cowboy and the Frenchman (1988) by Tim S — 06 Jan 2015
As far as humor goes, The Cowboy and the Frenchmen is really where its at as far as David Lynch's short films are concerned. Starring Harry Dean Stanton, Jack Nance, and Tracey Walter, it's basically about stereotypes and the humor that can come from them when put in certain situations.
Filmed around the time of Blue Velvet and Wild at Heart, it's a fine short film that's quite humorous and is easily one of David Lynch's more digestible short films.
