Review of The Company of Strangers (1990) by Kip M — 31 Jan 2008
Saw this in gerontology and my oh my will it put you to sleep. Basically, a group of old ladies is stranded in the Canadian wilderness and they share stuff about themselves, but nothing very revelatory at all.
And if they didn't know each other very well, how is it they all got along so swimmingly? Anyways, this movie is basically pointless. It reminds me of a line from 'For Your Consideration': "It's about time a director said, 'Let's do nothing.
'".
