This movie has lousy production, direction, and story flow. That being said, the ending partially makes up for the major flaws. It is a story of one of the most flawed men, who has some good points about American "feminism" who hits bottom and from it, his beautiful Chinese wife literally saves him from Hell on Earth and supposedly Eternal Hell.
The inner ugliness of Maxwell vs. the inner beauty of his wife and which one succeeds is very moving.
