Review of The Cast-Off (1959) by Mik A — 12 Sep 2008
It's a lot of thrill in the early parts. I'm always a fan of movies like this. i'm just not that impressed how the story was built. it's annoying watching those high ranked people being 'worried' to the civilians.
there were a lot of minor characters having many short appearances yet not clearly expressed their relevance. also, I don't like how the characters were being killed, after numerous efforts for survival, in the end, they still died.
it made me wonder, who has the more responsibility, the commissioner or the prime minister?
