Review of The Arrow (1997) by Kristie H — 21 Dec 2009
The concept and storyline are interesting, but the movie has quite a slow pace (most of it feels like an observation of Canadian politics, rather than involvement). The recreation of the 50's atmosphere in the social life (such as dress and living arrangements) is decent--especially on a low-budget--and there is some interesting cinematography (it is a movie about aeronautic engineering after all).
However, I think the film tries to accomplish too many things simultaneously that it misses the chance to excel at any one thing.
