Review of Tell No One (2006) by Nate C — 20 Aug 2009
Every bit as fabulous as the hype about this film would have you believe. A tightly woven, well-paced thriller with a wonderful central role for Cluzet, who evokes sympathy even when he's acting like a madman.
I thought I'd figured it all out by the time a character starts explaining the complexities, only to get it wrong. But, the story keeps twisting, and I was right - but, this took nothing away from what is in fact an emotionally-driven thriller, when you realize that Alex is not pursuing the truth because of any sense of justice or revenge, but simply because he loves his wife and wants to know what happened.
Superb.
