Review of Tell (2014) by William W — 04 Dec 2014
The directorial debut of J.M.R. Luna is more than satisfying. The mood, the theme, the image...all falls in the right place. He went for a really defined story, making sure everything work and he populated it with great performances. The cast takes you for a wild ride with everything you expect from a bank heist movie: Gunfights, bad cops, drama, intense suspense, a little bit of humor to lighten up. money bags and a busted garden gnome.
All in all, a solid debut film.
