Review of Tarzan (2013) by Milton L — 14 Aug 2014
Largely unadventurous adaptation of Tarzan that does nothing for the character. Whilst the use of CGI might be an attempt to make a 100 year old character seem relevant to todays audience its not a patch upon the numerous adaptations that have preceded it and will simply fall into the cracks along with numerous other lesser adaptions.
Stick to the Weissmuller, Crabbe or Lambert interpretations or if you must the 1999 Disney adaptation which has more life in one frame of animation than a single pixel of this film.
