Review of Tarantula (1955) by Philip D — 31 Mar 2008
Great piece of fifties horror /sci-fi the scenes of the overgrown animals in the lab look great ! love the giant guineapig, genuinely scary spider scenes fifties audiences where probably genuinely scared by these and they really look creepy now!i love the desert settings and the professors house I love these fifties films! some of the acting now looks a bit on the naff side but it does have the added bonus of the gorgeous mara corday she really is a babe and looks lovely in all her scenes oh and look out for the young clint eastwood hes the jet pilot at the end.
