Review of Talaash (2012) by Pathik S — 02 Dec 2012
This movie is a Reema Kagati movie not an Amir Khan movie. Script is quite flimsy but screenplay is pretty good; acting is the overall USP; even the shortest role is done well; it is refreshing to see some not so known faces. Although not a substantial role, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is brilliant as usual. a lot of critics are saying Amir seemed.
As if he was trying hard to act but did not seem that way at all. I also don't understand the non-sense of comparing Amir to be an Imraan Hashmi wannabe; agreed that Bhatt clan usually picks stories like these for their movies and Imraan usually plays the lead but they are different actors with very different styles.
It is also refreshing to see key bollywood filmmakers shooting in Indian locales with really refreshing and real locations. I enjoyed the movie and if you like movies with less melodrama and not too many cars and people flying in action scenes then you might also like this.
