Review of Take Care of My Cat (2001) by Albert P — 14 Mar 2008
For a commercial Korean film, this was a sweet movie that tackled class sensitively without resorting to the stereotypes that fill less subtle K-movies. It also was neither boring nor affected.
It would be untrue to say it's a gem, because it isn't that interesting-- it has more of a slice of life, journalistic bent--, but it's an earnest movie you wouldn't go wrong turning to if you were curious about life in Korea.
