Review of Swinging Safari (2018) by Mandy L — 13 Feb 2018
This is a great film. It's hilarious yet frightening to think that those of us who lived as children in the seventies survived the experience. And that those of us who are parents now have not done such a bad job after all.
So many amazing reminders. Cracker night terrible cars. No ideas about safety. No parental control or supervision. Childhood was fun then. Too serious. Yes I get it. This is a great film and will become a brilliant Australian classic.
Although it helps to have been brought up in the 70's for it to make any sense. But hey stick with it. It's worth it. Brilliant.
