Review of Sweetie (1929) by Tom G — 22 Sep 2008
Interesting story about a mentally disturbed sister at the center of a family breaking apart. I enjoyed the way that the film is more focused on the other sister, who seems to have problems of her own caused by the attention she was never given. just when things seem to be going alright, the sudden appearance of her sister changes everything.
It was nicely shot, and the actors are great, but I just couldn't really get into this much.
