Straight up, the people who can rag on this movie don't watch movies for the reason they are intended. Everything you could want is delivered in this flick - action, adventure, comedy, drama, romance, cute without being cheesy, and Ernie freakin' Reyes Jr.
Grow down, people. I went to film school too, ok?
