Review of Super Mario Bros. (1993) by Rex M — 14 Jan 2012
Mario Bros, ahh, these were the good ole times, I grew up with the video games. And this movie says everything about the video games, what if mario was actually real. This is how his daily life would be.
I on the other hand would have taken a different approach making mario a bound leaping cartoon character and brought him into the real world to deal with real world problems. I'm actually sort of doing this with a 1800's take if Mario not only traveled to a different dimension, but traveled through time.
How would he react, how would his friends react, what would be his main goal. How far could you stretch the truth about something, to the point that nothing even matters. That is what Mario is about. This movie states that simple fact.
It doesn't matter what situation Mario is in, he usually achieves his one goal, to survive, live on and save a woman in desirable need. That is who Mario is... anyone think differently. put it below.
