Review of Suddenly Last Summer (2012) by Kate S — 11 Aug 2007
Hepburn gives a great performance as the widowed matron of a wealthy family who tries to have her niece lobotomized to protect secrets about her dead son. Elizabeth Taylor is great as well, playing the niece who is committed to an asylum after witnessing the horrible death of her cousin.
Unfortunately, Montgomery Clift seems miscast as the neurosurgeon trying to help Taylor, but that's my only complaint.
