Review of Suburban Commando (1991) by Clinton A — 28 Sep 2009
I had never seen this movie as a kid and since I enjoy Hulk Hogan movies I decided to check this out. I was really surprised how funny the movie was. I mean there are some very bizarre little scenes but they are still hilarious.
The movie has a sort of fantasy type element and definitely is not meant to show any realism. Hulk Hogan does a good job at playing a ripped guy that walks around saving but also causing havoc. The movie does not take itself seriously and it works.
Overall, I had no real expectations coming in and they exceeded them.
