Review of Strawberry Shortcakes (2006) by Rick B — 21 Jul 2007
Despite the title, this is a very adult film. Watching these four women go through their issues makes for a tough watch at times, but the way the film is presented is far from gratuitous. I would have liked more of a conclusion, but Yazaki Hitoshi gives but a glimpse of the girl's future that fits with the rest of the film.
A good choice for those who prefer more adult situations with their "slice-of-life" dramas.
