Review of Stolen Summer (2002) by Emily S — 21 Aug 2008
It was interesting to watch this film after watching the painful episodes of P.G. The movie actually turned out better than I had expected. The dialogue seemed unnatural in many places, especially between the two young boys.
What saved this movie was solid performances by Hunt, Quinn, and Pollack. I do have to give Pete Jones credit, however, for taking on this huge task of being a first time director...it wasn't easy.
