Review of Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine (2015) by Tim M — 11 Jul 2016
"Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine" is a corrective portrait on the highly complex Apple founder. As per usual Alex Gibney does a magnificent job showing the depth to jobs, but it's hard to get a feel for Jobs overall.
You can tell the documentarian is conflicted as are most people who care to delve into who Jobs was in any detail. You'll cringe at certain aspects and revel in his brilliance of others, but one thing will always be certain: Jobs can't be boxed in.
