Review of Stephanie (2017) by Autumn M — 04 Jan 2019
Having not rated "The Purge", we didn't have high expectations of this movie. It was quite slow to start with very few notable moments. Once Stephanie's parents return, the pace picks up, and after a few ambiguous moments (a bit of welcome mystery) and very little in the way of explanation / script, the source of the problem becomes clear.
From then on, I really had to watch it until the end, and there was a little hope that perhaps all would end well; it didn't. It was just about watchable but disappointing in places and without any explanation of the source of the "outbreak" or the detail.
