Review of Steamboy (2004) by Jutt B — 24 Nov 2007
Absolutely fantastic! It rivals Ghibli any day, although...a bit too much CG takes away from the charm this film could possess. It is a classic tale of morality set in 19th century England. However, don't expect an historically correct film, this is Steampunk at its best.
Unfortunately I have only see the dub and it is another case of the Yanks fucking it up (apart from Patrick Stewart). If you have the choice watch it in Japanese.
