I'm quoting somebody else, but don't steal this movie, steal "Medium Cool" instead. D'Onofrio is good as Hoffman but the subject is treated very shoddily and neither informs nor entertains.
Far too much is left out (on both sides) and the attempt to intercut archive material with current footage is very jarring. (& one final annoyance -- whoever picked the typeface for the FBI titles should never be allowed a creative decision in film again.
