Review of State and Main (2000) by Derek A — 17 Jul 2008
This is a really similar kind of movie to those Second City ones (A Mighty Wind, For Your Consideration, etc.), except with a Hollywood cast containing a LOT of actors who I love, and minus the sort of Coneheads-style acting of the Second City ones.
Phillip Seymour Hoffman is young and cute(ish). Alec Baldwin is of course a hilarious dirtbag.
