Fantastic movie, brilliant acting, beautiful imagery. It shows really well how most Germans were trapped in a system they didn't understand fully or support, but at the same time weren't able to oppose or change. Some people tried, though, and paid a terrible price for it.
One of several great films out of Germany in recent years that show that the German people were victims in many ways, too.
