Review of Song to Song (2017) by Zach B — 03 Apr 2017
3 Stars. This is Malick at his most accessible and probably has more dialogue in it than his last two films put together, but still finds a way to say less than the other two do for most of the pictures time.
The ending really congeles the entire film and makes me wonder what I'll feel the 2nd time around. Worthy themes but feels like self parody for most of the run time. I never like or want to say that about Malick.
Bless this man for being himself always no matter what.
