Review of Sleep Tight (2011) by Tohami S — 04 Mar 2013
Apartment attendent Cesar was born without the ability to feel joy, and so to give his life purpose he spends his days making his tenants unhappy. When beautiful Clara refuses to become down, Cesar takes his campaign to a whole other level.
Jaume Balaguero, director of the superb Spanish horror 'Rec' once again sets his movie in a claustrophobic Spanish tenement. Echoing Hitchchock, Sleep Tight is by turn funny, exciting then extremely disturbing.
Starting as a dark comedy, by the final burst of violence and killer twist, Sleep Tight has ensured it will haunt you long after the credits have run. Check it out, then check under your bed...
