Review of Slacker (1990) by Hi H — 19 Jul 2008
Not gonna lie, this movie is weird. But at the same time it's possibly one of the greatest films ever made. The dialogue is incredible accompanied by stellar cinematography. Richard Linklater is a hell of a director.
This plotless 90's view of life in Austin, Texas is universal artistic realism. Not looking to tell a story, but rather a paint a picture of life.
