Review of Six Shooter (2004) by Xu Y — 12 Sep 2008
From Martin McDonagh, the director of one of my 2008 favorites, In Bruges, comes a morbidly dark short. Much like In Bruges, this isn't so much a dark comedy as it is a tragedy with laughs. All I can say is that if you liked In Bruges, Six Shooter is well worth seeking out and getting into for it's 30 minute runtime.
The only problem with it being a short is that you want it to be a full-length feature, but that's the problem with all great shorts.
