Review of Six Shooter (2004) by Adam C — 29 Nov 2008
I'm a big fan of Martin McDonagh, and this little trial balloon of a film by the playwright shows off his bloody humor and distinctive dialogue perfectly. What really makes it a winner is Brendan Gleeson's peerless lead performance, though--he brings a sensibility never quite present in McDonagh's plays, and the end result is near perfection.
Oh, and it's quite feckin; funny.
