Review of Silmido (2003) by Jerry X — 31 Jul 2007
A movie which retells the story of the 684 Squad, whose mission is to assassinate Kim Il Sung after the North failed its mission to assassinate the South President. It may not be historically accurate, but the characters were presented with individual distinctive personalities.
The ending was not exactly heroic, but emotional one as the viewers can actually understand their mixed emotions and motivations. Good movie indeed.
