This is one of those movies that is on the list of "movies so bad their good".
The acting sucks, the script sucks, the effects suck, but you cant help but enjoy this made for TV scifi channel movie. As with most made for TV monster movies the monster is created by one of a few things. Global Warming, Greedy corporation/person, crazy scientist or a government funded project. In the case of this move its of the government funded variety.
