Review of Shadowboxer (2005) by The Original Tia Of F — 12 Jul 2007

I honestly didnt know what to expect from this film I was interested in how a mother and her stepson could have a romantic relationship and on top of that be contract killers. Definitely makes for interesting characters.

I was very surprised by the casting in this film and saw a lot of actors/actresses that I didnt expect to see and it made the movie all the more enjoyable to watch. The dynamic between the mother (Mirren) and stepson (Gooding Jr.) is very interesting to see as at first your are watching to see how deep the intimacy goes and in the end you are speechless at how the relationship developed and twhat bound them together.

I could talk more about the movie but I'm afraid I would give something essential away, but I am definitely glad that I caught this film and finally watched it.
