Review of Shadow: Dead Riot (2006) by Trent R — 22 Mar 2009
Leung Siu-Hung's choreography is not sufficient reason to watch this, but that and Wan's cinematography do make it better than many of its ilk. A WIP/Horror/Fu hybrid, it lacks the script, talent or moves to pull off any one element well.
If it had been made on their home turf, it's strengths would be more well-realized and readily apparent.
