Review of Serpico (1973) by William R — 30 Sep 2011
No wonder the 70's are regarded as the best decade in film. They don't make cop movies like this one anymore. No big shoot out scenes or car chases needed. Serpico is mostly a drama and character study of an honest policeman surrounded by corruption everywhere.
This film also shows why Pacino is revered as one of the best american actors.
