Review of Secuestro Express (2004) by Michael K — 31 Dec 2007
Excellent Venezuelan crime drama that focusses on a kidnapping, apparently regular occurrences in the country. What could have been a relatively straightforward film was lifted above the norm by shifting the film to act as both a drama and a comment on a society that places people from such extremes of wealth amongst each other.
