Review of Scourge (2008) by Amy H — 27 Jan 2010

Scourge treads on ground we've seen before in films like Species or even the Faculty so it's nothing new. The gore is ok and I did like the way they did up the bloodshot eyes. Dialogue was poorly written so the actors, no matter how talented they might actually be, had nothing to work with and thus come off extremely amateur. My biggest beef has to come with the leaps and bounds of the logic used to figure out what's going on in the film. I have no idea how characters are jumping from conclusion to conclusion without really having any solid reasoning for it.

I wasn't expecting much from the film so having now seen it, I will say that it met or slightly exceeded my expectations.
