Review of Sayonara (1957) by Rox T — 01 Jul 2007
Women are one of the few things that Marlon Brando was genuinely interested in pursuing, so that works for him here, because that's the kind of movie this is, with mixed-race overtones for soldiers in wartime.
This movie also benefits from requiring Brando to act nonchalant in the beginning, which is a tendency he normally would have to repress on a movie set. Plus, he looked good in 1957.
