Review of Santa Sangre (1989) by Paavo I — 22 Feb 2009
Essentially this plays like if David Lynch directed a giallo script by the ZAZ team. It has everything I love about movies; big laughs, unbelievable visuals, surreal imagery and some fine metaphors that keep you guessing.
I don't think it's the job of the viewer to understand every single part of the movie, even though everything must have some kind of meaning.
