Drawing on a series of inspirations like samurai films, western cartoons, anime, and centuries of eastern and western folklore, it is safe to say that there has been nothing in the west like "Samurai Jack" before.
The visuals are simple, yet charged with excitement as you watch the action unfold. A great beginning for what hopefully will become a classic animated series.
