Samurai Cop is by far Amir Shervan's most renowned film. This movie was his second chance after the equally infamous Hollywood Cop to in his mind emulate the the buddy cop genre. It is staggeringly incompetent in every way.
The coloration between shots doesn't match up, the actors can't act, and the script is horrid,.What makes this movie so good though is the fact that despite all that despite it's overwhelming abundance of flaws, this movie rides the thin "so bad it's good" line right down the center.
It is a much watch film for any cult B-movie fan worth his salt.
