Review of Same Same But Different (2009) by Ron L — 07 May 2010
The film, based on a true story, follows a young German who falls in love with a Cambodian bar girl during his graduation trip and takes care of her when he finds out that she's HIV-positive. If you think it's a tear jerker à la Japanese / Korean drama, I can assure you it's not.
One of the better German films I've seen so far.
