Review of Salvage (2006) by Elizabeth H — 15 Jun 2011
This movie is the sugar-free candy of horror flicks, kind of sweet but might leave you craving some Laffy Taffy, a Twin Bing or Pixie Stix. The believable acting and the blue-colar backdrop of the midwest(filmed in Marietta, Ohio) seem to counterbalance the mysterious reincarnations.
The pacing of the film is a bit off, the movie takes its time after the initial death scene and suffers somewhat from a hurried wrap-up. The film is lacking in gore for a real horror film and there is an overabundance of towels.
Overall, its more interesting than most horror movies. Have to love the line "The only thing thats real, is what you feel...".
