A truly realistic and hard hitting film. The side of Bombay that even Madhur Bhandarkar couldn't capture in his National Award winning films. We've seen a lot of films that talk about how bad the film industry is, which may not be true whereas, this is something we see happen in front of us.
Nair has taken this to a whole new level, kept it real and simple. Mira Nair's best film.
