Review of Sabu (2002) by Paul C — 07 Sep 2009
It was an ok movie with a nice story line. It is just that the story line didn't really go along smooth. It jumped around way too much. At some parts you couldn't even figure out which story went to which character.
Tatsuya Fujiwara, I think, is always a great actor and did a great job in his role. He just seems to be good with emotion. The other actor, Satoshi Tsumabuki was just ok. It might of been the character he played that annoyed me, but I just didn't feel his role like I did with Fujiwara.
Takashi Miike is a great director and I can't say he never really made a terrible movie. I would have to say that this is not one of his best though.
