Review of Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked the World (2017) by James S — 15 Sep 2017
While not a perfect film, Rumble brings a long overdue recognition to a generally forgotten group of players in the history of modern music in a thoroughly engaging fashion. Filled with fantastic music, and commentary from a who's who of entertainment stars, what really shines here is the films ability to being a new life and originality to already classic tunes by expanding on the history behind them.
One of the best documentaries so far in 2017, and worthy of an Osacr nod.
