Do you know that your mind is more important than appearance?
If you don't, watch this movie. Steve Martin plays Charlie, a romantic and intelligent fire chief, but there's a problem...he has an enormous nose...and for the things to get really "crazy", he falls in love with Roxanne, a woman with a passion for astronomy. Charlie hires a new fire-fighter, Chris, who is handsome, but useless when it comes to women. Chris also falls in love with Roxanne and he asks Charlie to help him with her, not knowing that C.D. (Charlie) has a big crush on her. And so the movie goes on...and goes on in a beautiful and romantic way...
Till the end, you do realize that intelligence and romance are like gold and diamond compared to the wooden look of the body...
