Review of Rollerball (2002) by Devin C — 18 Jun 2007
Don't let the shitty remake fool you; the original Rollerball is a thought-provoking piece of speculative sci-fi that - despite its uber-70s aesthetic - was quite perceptive in many of its predictions.
There are some slow sections, but the action sequences make up for it. Also, fans of 1970s futuristic design will have a blast with this one. James Caan is a badass, even when he's wearing a big-collar polyester jumpsuit.
