Review of Rocky V (1990) by Ross W — 14 Jun 2009
Not many like this film but for me I like it as it takes Rocky back to his roots. Rocky I & II were great films, but III & IV just felt like music videos. There wasn't much substance. Rocky actually feels like Rocky in this film, the way he talks, acts and dresses.
In some ways I like to think III & IV never happened because if you watch Rocky I, II, V and Balboa they all fit together quite nicely.
