Review of Roar of the Press (1941) by Kevin M. W — 13 Sep 2018
Riding on the fumes of Howard Hawks popular His Girl Friday (only one year before), this Wallace Ford starring feature (and they don't come too often) is about a newlywed reporter trying to reform his errant bachelor reporter ways and go honeymoon with his bride, if his managing editor will get off of his back about skunking out a spy ring operation story first.
Will he ever get to his honeymoon? Expect lots of 40's lingo delivered on the quick.
